One significant element of this network is the ConAgra Foods Executive Diversity Council (EDC), a group of senior executives that provides guidance, support, and sponsorship for diversity and inclusion at ConAgra Foods. The EDC also holds management accountable for sustained results.
ConAgra Foods supports two "affinity groups" within the company: the ConAgra Foods Black Employee Network (CBEN) and the Women's Executive Council (WEC). Each group receives support from a senior manager and sponsor selected by, or from, the Executive Diversity Council, and both groups contribute fundamentally to the ConAgra Foods Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and business objectives.
