The people of ConAgra Foods work diligently to minimize our impact on the environment—not just inside our facilities but around them, in the air, on the land, and in the water.

  • Air: We embrace environmentally friendly energy resources in our plants, which operate within strict state and federal guidelines. Where clean-air regulatory permits govern our operations, we strive to keep air emissions within permitted limits. Often they're even better.

    Innovative technologies and improved production processes prevent unwanted releases into the atmosphere, and we continually deploy new technologies further to meet our progressive goals for air-pollution reduction.
  • Land: We understand the need to protect the land that gives us all so much, so our land-management efforts include recycling to reduce waste sent to landfills and protecting and enhancing wetlands for their environmental value. We help farmers grow and protect their crops and take their harvest to market. Environmentally sensitive land stewardship will continue to be a priority for us.
  • Water: Some of our processing facilities have on-site wastewater-treatment processes that efficiently remove unwanted waste byproducts from the water we use. The water is then sent to municipal water-treatment facilities for additional cleaning. When our work is finished, water is returned to nature, clean and free of harmful pollutants. Our dedication to food safety, water conservation, and proper wastewater treatment guides our use of water.
