We often are able to improve processing time while also reducing energy usage. Advancements in food packaging—which lead to reduced use of paper products, adhesives, inks, and plastics—also help. Whenever possible, we use recycled packaging and recyclable packaging.
And because we don’t handle every process between the field and the plate, we also partner with our suppliers to implement energy-saving measures at every stage in the production process.
